Infuriating for you Penny. Have you tried contacting them and complaining? They may agree to come again the next day. I've heard of postal deliveries, eg Parcel Force, leaving a card without ringing the doorbell. It's sheer laziness. (By the way, glad to hear you have an afternoon nap, and at the same time as me!)
