Sure, I understand what you mean, John. Residents apparently were being allowed to claim belongings from some apartments... I just hope Ebbie has a chance to retrieve whatever will bring comfort and hope.

I will just point out that we are nearly finished cleaning and accessing things we pulled from the ashes. Our fire was just under 3 years ago. We couldn't retrieve anything for a couple of weeks...just before Christmas. When we could, we boxed up anything that looked important, knowing we weren't able to make clear choices while clearing the ruin by hand. It took 1 1/2 years to empty the foundation and have it bulldozed in preparation for building again.

Back to Ms Ebbie for whom I have the utmost respect and affection. She'll make it through to the sun.
