'I wonder how many of you have heard the old Indian proverb and parable about the three blindmen. They took all three blindmen to see a banjo, and then they asked them to describe the experience.

The first blindman said - I can feel what it is - its a banjo!

The second blindman said, I too believe I can feel what it is - its the 1953 Goldtone, with Scruggs pegs fitted and a pearl inlay!

But the third blindman hesitated long and hard, screwed up his face with concentration and he would have been gazing at the inquisitor, if he could see. At length he said, Didn't we used to do this gig with an elephant.....?
