I am the most fortunate of beings. All of the tenants essentially got out of there with the same thing: our pet(s) and the clothes on our backs but as it developed while I have suffered very little loss some of the tenants lost all of their belongings, including actual cash. They have all been put up in various hotels so nobody has gone cold or hungry. Juneau is a WONDERFUL town filled with amazing people.

I personally am experiencing only good things. One of the very best is being here at KT's. Can you imagine anything better? KT is out of town at the moment but I am ensconced in her home with LOADS of food and an amazing view out the windows - homes on the hillside below, a wide strip of the ocean beyond and a mountain ridge on the far side of the channel. I keep forgetting how uniquely wonderful it is. And KT, I wear the Life is Good t=shirt to bed every night.
