I think I saw a new-school folk band on YouTube. There were half a dozen young people in tight clothes and freaky hair-dos, there were red and blue stagelights, and fake fog was drifting about. The instruments were traditional and the style was hackneyed. (guitars went blangety-blangety throughout.) In other words, it was an imitation of a rock band.
