I enjoyed the music. Allysen sang songs full of mystery and myths, legends, and fairy tales. Garnet was as good as ever, and I breathed a sigh of relief when the evening's host said that Garnet was doing all acoustic music last night. I think electric guitars have their place in folk music, but when Garnet uses them the sound often becomes painfully loud for me (I have a low threshold for noise) and I retreat to the stairwell or kitchen and listen from there. Last night I was able to stay in my seat. Between songs, Garnet told some amusing tales of things that have happened during his time at his home in Nova Scotia.

Garnet said that he and Archie Fisher may tour again, possibly doing two shorter tours rather than one long one. I hope I get to hear them.
