I'm producing Larry Hanks and Deborah Robins' third duet CD, and Larry Penn's "The Whiskey's Gone" is my favorite song in the collection - so far. The lyric is great - "it's time to leave 'em with a kiss and make 'em glad you came." It's so right for the Hanks oeuvre.

I got to produce their first two CDs of duet, too, and I recommend them for happy listening to one and all. "No Hiding Place" and "Old Times." It's like catching maple syrup from a tree; the hard part is not messing up what nature got right in the first place.
