Bummer about the clothesline. I've had that happen - and so I replace the lines every couple of years. Next year new lines are due.

I bought three pairs of slacks that all say to dry clean. I turned them each inside out and put them in the washer on extra gentle wash and cold water, then hung them up to dry. I ironed them a bit while they were still moist. I'll see how they look tomorrow. I liked the pants but have no interest in dry cleaning and the cost and solvents involved. I do wish I could press pants as efficiently as the cleaners do, though!
