..."we can swipe..."    Glad to hear that.   But I have already had a problem with using a credit card without chip/PIN in a restaurant--years ago.. During the Sidmouth festival--therefore in a place and at a time when overseas travelers would be expected.   Somewhat disconcerting.

I am to understand this is not spreading? Or it would be reasonable to ask the retailer to manually enter the information?
