Wizz Jones
There are few artists with more claim to being a 'musician's musician' than Wizz Jones. Inspired by Big Bill Broonzy, Rambling Jack Elliot, Alexis Korner and Ewan MacColl, learning his craft from the likes of Davy Graham and Long John Baldry in the coffee bars of London's Soho during the late fifties, busking through Europe with Rod Stewart and cited by John Renbourn and Eric Clapton as an important early influence. With his unique acoustic guitar style, an eclectic repertoire and a 'right hand worthy of Broonzy' Wizz continues to tour on the acoustic folk and blues circuit

Wizz has played at The Goose several times now to delighted audiences; it is great to welcome him back.

"Wizz Jones is a man still very much on top of his game" Colin Harper

Jason Steel
Jason Steel is a singer & picker of stringed instruments. Originally from Yorkshire, he currently rests his head in North London.
A former guitarist and singer in psych-folk outfit The Owl Service, his debut long player 'Fire Begot Ash' garnered considerable praise in various quarters upon its release in March of 2010. The album weaved the sounds of Appalachian and ragtime picking, the strange, old worlds of traditional folk and the ghosts of 1920s Tin Pan Alley.

Rob Anderson
We are delighted to be welcoming Rob back to the Goose to support Wizz tonight.
Rob has appeared at the Goose several times, the first time supporting Alasdair Roberts, and the last time with his fabulous Wayne Drury Project!
Rob is a superb singer and guitarist from Oregon USA and a firm favourite at the Goose Is Out!
