While carrying out the not-exactly-a-coil of copper tubing that used to run between the underground oil tank (history) and the furnace, I managed to drip oil on the unfinished piece of wood at the head of the cellar stairs and on the plywood subflooring.

I've done a bit of scrubbing, and it left the stains somewhat diffused, but the oil odor is driving me nuts. (Tom doesn't notice it.) It was really a small amount of oil.

Anybody got any ideas as to what to use for further scrubbing?

The stain I can live with. The smell is really getting to me.
