I'm not sure how long it would take any carbonated drink to dissolve a mouse.... but back when soda came in returnable bottles, and customers brought them back to the store, where they were sent to the bottlers to be washed & refilled....

*I*... me.... myself... was at the returns counter one day (1956) when a customer brought in a 6-pack of Pepsi with a 12 oz. Pepsi bottle...unopened... with a mouse in the bottom! (automatic washers didn't remove large objects) We gave her a new one and, I suppose, sent the evidence back to Pepsi. I shoulda kept it and watched.
