Fat B****rd, if you're having to log in every time you come to Mudcat, it's probably a setting on your browser. Your login sets a cookie on your computer, and that cookie should identify you at Mudcat until it's erased.

Try another browser and see if that helps. Also, check your security settings on your browser and your antivirus program.
