Apparently what it set out to do was create just enough footage o Thather the politician to fill the six minutes of trailers I saw and not to include and inch more in the film.

I don't know what the film maker intended. But if it was to make Streep look good at Thatcher's expense, it was a triumph.

My problem is NOT the filmakers' intent, it was what the marketers sold me.
