Margaret Bennett has just published a very nice book about the life ansd songs of Jerome Downey, a Newfoundland singer who she and Kenny Goldstien recorded in 1980. It comes with a CD of 26 songs sung by Mr. Downey.The book sells for $25, and you can get a copy from Ms. Bennet or from CAMSCO MUsic (I have only a few copies).
A good book.
