As someone who has been to the cinema a few times and seen the odd DVD at home as it were, my speculation (note speculation, not conclusion you prat) is based on having been many times able to look at Hollywood's portrayal of many subjects, not least of all The UK, of which the industry has a fascination not matched by accuracy, sadly.
