Another one today: not quite as amazing maybe. But true.

I happened to be sitting here at the keyboard, & some train of thought brought me to people's names which, if mispronounced from their spelling, can have a sort of meaning. I thought of the French tennis player, for instance, whose name, pronounced in English as spelt, would mean a man who {ungrammatically} has a bad memory. Then I went down & switched on the Statoil [oldies'] Tennis Masters at the Royal Albert Hall on ITV4.

And what match should I find in progress but Guy Forget v Jeremy Bates!
