The whole point of the British tax system is to set a moral example. So that the thrift, moral rectitude and decency of people like the Royal Family and the Captains of industry, and the great banking magnates are rewarded, and they remain in charge and in the money.

All the rest is window dressing. When is the wealth EVER redistributed?
