Things have been a bit frantic here at Santa Headquarters. The elves are on some kind of work to rule slow down and, though the presents have been wrapped for several weeks (I did that), and a suitable box for shipment located last week (I did that), I've had my hands full with enough minor annoyances to fill an interesting novel (which I'm composing in my head even as I type). The reindeer refuse to deliver anything until Christmas Eve and the backup team of cats... (Oops. Did I say "team" of cats?!?) Oh, well. (Oh, hell...)

I'll deliver the package myself to the post office this very afternoon...on my way to pick up more eggnog...LOTS more eggnog.

Just wanted you to be reassured that you do indeed HAVE a Secret Santa and that Santa is actually on the job and working on sending you some holiday cheer.
