Quick rum punch: 1 part dark rum, 1 part ginger wine, 2 parts boiling water. An excellent restorative after an evening's carol-singing in the snow.

For a more potent potion (50% abv), mix equal quantities Wray & Nephew rum and King's Ginger Liqueur, plus a dash of Cointreau.
