Adrien: Yes the "refreshments" and the parties. It WAS like that, many to go to. It can still be done, with a bit of spirit.

I remember the ones at The Yellow Door, where everybody brought something. The Jews(and honorary Jews, like everybody is Irish on St. Patrick's day) brought bagels, Chuck & Jenny made a turkey, the Italians brought pizza, etc., everybody from many nationalities & faiths all being together in the spirit of Christmas. It was nice.

And you know what? Falafel CAN go along with Pizza & Chinese...LOL

And I seem to remember what could best be described as "Zombie Punch"; even the fruit in there had a smile on it's face. YOUR favourite drink was in there for sure....;0)

It showed that we could all share & enjoy the moment...
