Well said, Amos! I quite agree. Consider the difference between "I am a male human, only a male human being, and cannot ever be otherwise"...and "I am life itself, presently manifesting as a male human being, but that's only one small part of the possibilities inherent in what I truly am".

The vast majority of men I know have never even considered the 2nd of those outlooks, and would probably be afraid to. They think their condition of "maleness" is fixed and permanent. I don't see it that way at all. I see it as a temporary option my spirit has chosen for whatever reason. I see my present situation rather like playing a role in a dramatic play...until the play is done. I may play a very different role in the next play I take part in.

The way you describe Maggie, her delighted sense of "newness" about everything, I envy her. ;-) She must be having a marvelous time. People have that sense of newness in early childhood.
