You my get more help if you are more specific. Still the same PC with WinXP? Changed anything, such as bought more RAM? Crashes always?

Five minutes of googling suggest the following: the error exists because the programmers did not anticipate more than 850MB (or 512?) of RAM. Last ressort in this case: remove the extra RAM.

Microsoft offered a patch "pi19299.exe". Did you manage to download that? If so, it may refuse to execute because it was only certified for earlier versions of XP. This checking can be circumvented by unpacking the .exe file manually using some "Universal Extractor". Copy the resulting files to the PI folder (rename the existing version of PIPCore6.dll before) and double click on "UNIQUEID.reg" to update the registry.

This much from the net, none of my own wisdom in any sense. Use it at your own risk, or wait for The One Who Knows Something.
