For a day or three, I went back and forth on whether I should draw-and-scan my own images (as I did for my "Monster Suite" poems, this spring), or snag public domain images from Wikimedia Commons. I opted for the latter because a) that better suited my energy levels this week, and b) I figured antique illustrations from a variety of sources was a good fit for the subject matter. I was utterly surprised, though, to find no old-timey illustrations of fires in a hearth, though. So that, I did myself on Microsoft Paint...

I look forward to the day when I can sing the chorus in a sing-along. :-)
