Years back a dear and good friend represented a lady in one of the USA's weapons labs. She was being fired because she was ostensibly incompetent at her job. She had been hired and the employer had known she typed about forty words a minute. She came into question because she disagreed with her bosses about corporate policy, especially the one about handicapped people in the workplace.

In front of a state judge it was determined that the employer was wrong, that she be reinstated to her job and that damages be paid.

I doubt that type of thing will happen again soon. It was in the early 1970s.
