It's very different to what I understand about US health system. Do other churches & compassionate organisations offer similar health systems?

Here in the land of Oz we have universal health care - Medicare is government run & offers hospital & medical care, tho many folks also have private health cover to (help) cover the gap between Medicare rebate & fees charged, & to pay for/contribute to non-Medicare services. Patients can still have a large out-of-pocket expenses.
