MPs and Peers from all parties.
High Court Judges.
Huge petitions.
Many, many people of all faiths and none.

Many Tory voters are cross about that.
It was in no manifesto, the Coalition Agreement or the Queen's Speech. Why not.
Was there a single reason for it not to be?

All the other issues you mention WERE given a proper hearing.
