Yeah, it's limited, but that's what capos are for. I keep one of my guitars in CGCGCG tuning and flatpick tons of old-timey and Irish fiddle tunes on it. It's one of these guitars. The neck joins the body at the 19th fret so I can capo way the hell up the neck and still have playing room. I can play in any major or minor key with no problem. The only real problem is if someone wants to do a medley and the tunes are in different keys.
