Thread Name: Lyr Req: Blood on Our Land (Irish rebel song)
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Blood on Our Land (Irish rebel song)
I'm looking for something similar - the words I can remember are
Oh woe is me, when will I see my land at peace again
Is blood spilled, have James Connelly and Casement died in vain
Who can be free when bigotry and hate walk hand in hand
For the enemy have come again and there's blood upon the land

Would it be fair? to take the air all alone I chanced to stray
Along the road to Derry Town on a lovely summer's day
The smell of hate was everywhere, death wore an orange gown
And a small child died in the streets that night of bloody Derry Town
and thats it
The record label I think was mainly white with a little red and black on it and it was sung by a female voice (may have been solo, may have been part of a band I'm not sure)

Can anybody help me identify it?
