It might be assumed that "boot camp" is a corruption of the common term for a process in which the "mentor" tortures the "contestant" about "basics," but the article doesn't provide details.

Never watched it, and based on the description probably won't; but it's obvious that this thread needs to be "more popular" to get any useful response, so I'll give it a kick. (low frontal kind?)
