In the Riverside Glasgow (for those who don't know its a folk venue)after a busy weekend of general partying and gargling. I nodded off during Danny Kyle's set and opened my eyes to find him serenading me with a song about falling asleep. I used to nod off regularly when I was younger. My most embarassing experience was after a Burns Supper for the local scouts. It was a dry affair so my chums and I took a half bottle each just for the toasts you understand. It finished quite early so we went for a wee refreshment,the men went home leaving my friend and I still partying. Somehow we managed to loose one another,so I decided I'd walk home. Did I mention it was the beginging of February and about -2C. It's about a mile,not far,so off I meandered. "Feeling fu' an' unco happy". 300 yards from home is a bus shelter with funny wee pull down seats and I needed a rest so I sat down and promptly fell asleep. Luckily a nice kind policeman came along woke me up and gave me a lift home. I was lucky I didn't spend a night in the cells. Didn't feel too well the next day ! ! !
