A reminder that I am an idiot and that the Singaround is this Saturday, 19th. January, not 19th. February.

Guest's estimate at the rate of songs is accurate. It takes 2-3 hours to get round the room. We've never turned anyone away, but it can get quite full; that's part of the joy, because the chorus singing is magnificent.

On Sunday 20th. January there is a free ballad session from noon until 3.00 p.m. at the Elephant & Castle, White Hill, Lewes BN7 2DJ, chaired by Stuart Walker. The emphasis is on the great traditional ballads. This is the usual home of Lewes Saturday Folk Club.
