Who knew that after all of these years of accord that we'd all get in a lather over soap? (Sorry, can't resist a good pun!)

Some years ago people were researching the surface of bar soap versus the contents of liquid soap and found that there were some germs that would live on the surface of a bar of soap. I suspect this was a scheme by the liquid soap industry to increase sales, but the resulting confusion has led to discussions like that above. You're in good company as people sort out their favorite hand-washing materials.

It will be a long weekend with Monday off, but I can't elongate it from this end, I have a lot of things to finish before the weekend so they're in place after the holiday.

I've thought about how to use the cupboard I built into the sideboard/buffet thing that I made out of a dresser. I am going to look for a small cabinet light and put a small free-standing wine rack in there. I think it will fit and will look fabulous! Photos will be available soon.
