Too cold in here to even think clearly! Like: I know it is warmer upstairs but I am sitting here with heating pad, quilt, coat and hat. Need gloves but would be unwieldy! So it is minus 26 C outside, which appears to be minus 14 F and that is very chilly. I went out to move my car this morning and it said, "OH NO! Do I HAVE to??" But it did. Mine started, thankful for that new battery! R got his running with help from mine. Nice new battery!

I phoned a friend and he answered, "WE're burning furniture!"

I have done nothing in two days but try to be warm. Well, there is FB and the internet.

Protesting a squirrel slam - don't ask - in NYS with emails to various people, petition and mutual support. Took quite a bit of time. Then here, reading some threads. Now, reminded to phone the chiropractor so I shall get up from my nest and get the phone, warm tea, lunch and a washroom break - not in that order. And return to my nest to stay warm.
