I use Travelocity or Expedia to find which airline has the best rates for the trip I'm taking. Then I go to that airline's Website to buy the tickets. I don't trust the discounters enough to actually buy tickets from them, but they're a good source of information. I've never found Travelocity or Expedia to have a rate cheaper than an airline's own Website.
