It's a pub in Dublin! Probably one of the best for traditional music and song nowadays - given that Hughes's of Chancery Street has gone into a decline music-wise....

The Cobblestone has both a bar area downstairs with frequent sessions and an upstairs lounge used as a ticketed venue. The recording was from the latter, I reckon.

p.s. For visitors to Dublin - The Cobblestone is in an area called Smithfield just on the North side of the Liffey about a mile upstream from the City Centre. The Luas (tram) passes nearby - it's easy to get to.
