I always wanted a lava lamp. The cost put them way out of reach in the 60s. I used to stare at the one in a shop window and dream myself into its organic-looking depths. I never knew anyone who could afford one for their very own.
Well!! That's all changed. I just found me one for $10 in the cheap shop. Can you imagine?!!
I actually had a choice of 5 colours. I nearly bought several but I made myself take home the green one.
True-love and I placed it before us and waited eagerly for it to warm up. Then we held hands and watched the blobs perform.
So wonderful. We didn't need sounds or perfumes or food or mushrooms or anything.
I'm in heaven. My True-love and my lava lamp.
