I think there is a great danger of drawing false conclusions about the starting up and ending (if it has indeed done so) of Stourbridge Folk Club.

Just because this didn't work, on a Tuesday night, in this particular venue, with these particular artistes, doesn't mean that there is no future for folk clubs in general, as some seem only too eager to say.

Perhaps there is more scope for finding out what sort of club people want and will be prepared to support, rather than criticising people for staying away- as has been done elsewhere.
