A club favourite returns to Kiveton Park Folk Club this coming Tuesday 29th Jan.
Geoff Higginbottom should have been in our midst last week but we postponed his visit due to the bad snows. However he's here this week!
Geoff is a performer of some repute, having appeared at festivals and clubs as a solo artist and in numerous combinations for a good number of years.
Posessing a robust voice, Geoff sings traditional and contemporary songs of social significance and historical relevance to ordinary working class life and struggle. He accompanies himself admirably on guitar and will usually incorporate a number of gob-oppening chorus song into the bargain. A great affinity with the audience and good humour make Geoff an act not to be missed!
Kick off about 8:45, Admission £5. All welcome.
