*gasp* you've never had eggnog? ohmygad!There are more recipes for eggnog then there are for plum pudding - and some take almost as long to make! The very best eggnog is so thick as to be almost a mousse; alcoholic enough; (but never too much) and gently dusted with nutmeg and/or cinnamon.
basically eggs/cream(milk, cream, whipped cream,or some combination of two or more of them) /alcoholic beverage of choice (usually rum or whisky). Sugar to taste, and as I said before, a dusting of cinnamon and/or nutmeg. Some peole add clove, vanilla.....have even had it with cardamon
