Apologies if you all know about this already, but I'd never come across it before:

www.musicrobot.com lets you search specifically for Midi files, Lyrics, Guitar Tabs etc.

I've not had time to investigate it much yet, and inevitably it's mostly rock / pop. The midi search does however bring up all of the mudcat midis so it can't be too bad...
