Thread Name: BS: Time to buy Apple
Subject: RE: BS: Time to buy Apple
Historically, the Feds first choice for computerization was Apple.
However Steve Jobs would not allow any release of their source code to the government and nixed the deal forever leaving the government only one other choice which was Microsoft. If only cooler heads had prevailed.

The debt and deficit are maybe number 6 and 7 down the list of important issues. They matter but not as much as a need for spending across the board to create jobs.

Buying apple between 400 and 450 is a good investment.
Much of the drop in price is manipulation by the big hedge funds and trillionaires. A major product release having to do with smart tv will be the impetus for the next skyrocket climb.

Unfortunately the government i phone contract coming up will not include defense and security departments at this time. We will see.

NOTES:

The democratizing trend in silicon valley is putting more business in the hands of consumers and on line entrepreneurs. Important improvements in education, national policy and personal products that will will tailor help to individuals be it languages, art, film and individual deficits. We are getting away from the big monopolies with apps. The average developer of most apps today only realize hundreds of dollars. Maybe the million dollar is coming when they out do pay pal.

The i pad is ideal for musicians when music is displaying real time fingerings, words and orchestration. The i pad has the ability to replace the living room TV. Search engines will become more purpose specific which will be a problem for Google. Google will have to have a separate mobile search or they will lose out to the app world.

*******
HTM5 is the next coming internet system after 12 years of html dominance.
*******

Samsung is one half of all the android app world. Samsung will continue to outgrow the others. Worth looking into as an invesment.

If Microsoft does only what they have done before they will lose ground.

Facebook's one billion consumers bound as a media service holds much potential but was raped by wall street in the short sell betrayal on their first offering. Face book still needs to figure out mobile.

The next new thing will be the ability to buy something with your i phone with one or two clicks instead of pay pal or apple credentials or other time consuming multiple click methods.

Amazon is on the right path to quick purchasing via pc, kindle fire but is still short of mastering mobile.

Twitter is a genius product but like Ebay it is missing its opportunity to make a masterful business out of it. Twitter needs to move toward discussion and away from broadcast. Conversational possibilities on Twitter could yield great profits. Will they do it?

Apple is an inexpensive stock now. it has a low PE multiple it has a cash flow equal to 10% of its stock price which is crazy for wall st.
Micro soft and Google are both below market multiples. They won't hurt you but they need one of those 10 year changes that change everything and that is in doubt. They don't have to be right, they just need to be not wrong.

Amazon and Twitter the evaluation is really high. so are not good buys.
