Since the appearance of malware that allows someone to turn on your webcam remotely without your knowledge and watch everything you do anywhere in the vicinity of your computer, social networks have confirmed from the posts by those who've used it that a rather large percentage of those with web access ARE TOO UGLY for anyone to want to know stuff like that discussed here.

Since many laptops do have built in webcams (and lots of people don't even know they have one?) it has been recommended that everyone should keep a piece of duct (duck) tape over the "eye" of the cam when not deliberately using the feature.

I don't have a webcam on my computer, but have placed the tape at the top of the screen where one would normally be located, just to be assured of not offending.

Most here should do the same, although we might have a vote on which 'catters should be allowed to have their "eyes" open while posting.
