It isn't as easy to access the control panel as it should be, gnu - although you can tweak things so you have one-click access to anything you can fit on the taskbar.

Here's how to set the clock:

  1. Move your mouse to the upper or lower corner of your screen, and a menu will appear.
  2. Select "settings," and then "control panel."
  3. Select "clock" and then "set date and time"

That's it. I think the trick is to catch onto the general logic of Windows 8, and then things come reasonably easily. If a process is difficult, it's relatively easy to set up a shortcut if you think you'll need to do the process again.

One thing I'm wondering about - I thought I'd be able to access Help by pressing F1, but that doesn't seem to work. In fact, none of the "F" keys seem to do anything.

Well, I googled Windows 8 Keyboard Shortcuts, and came up with this:

Not as intuitive as I'd like, but it does work quickly once you start memorizing the keyboard shortcuts. How did they ever come up with the term "charms"?
