I think I have been told that there is an add-on that will give nearly a normal WinXP desktop for win 8 - and maybe if I am lucky restore normal "close program" and "shut-down" options. Those draggy things are a PAIN IN THE ARSE if you are on a laptop without a proper mouse.

Does anyone know where I can get it?
