Good Lord! Youse are at it too?

WEATHER TERRORISTS!

It's a foot of snow and some wind fer gosh sake! Where the heck did youse grow up? I am in Moncton, NB.ca This is where your snow "storms" stall and stay. They pass by youse and come up the Bay of Fundy... hit the isthmus and STALL (see Sandy's post). I have seen 3 days of heavy snow and had to squeeze out the back door and ROLL on the snow to get snowshoes on so I could shovel snow so we could see out the living room window.

A FOOT of snow? A BIT of a wind? (or even TWICE that???)I am not saying it couldn't turn into a real Noreaster but I think I'll save the panic for when it's required. Even then, from the posts above, none of you are as prepared as I am... any of you cook a big boiled dinner yet?

Am I the only one who thinks it's JUST winter in this neck of the woods? and it ain't near as bad as it used to be? Seriously... a wee bit of snow and wind? I thought all the hype was just TV stuff... more viewers = more advertising $.

Are youse really fearful of this WEE bit of weather or is it just that you are cautious about what could happen (valid point)?
