It's a lovely song, but (and don't ask me why I ever looked it up) it has the line He was a strong and a feisty old man in the verse referring to a letter penned in 1892. The first recorded use of the word "feisty" was in 1896. Interesting bit of poetic licence, utterly forgiven by me!
