Smetimes i think that putting in one's tuppenceworth can be equated to "spending a penny" twice.
For a scotsman that can be very frustrating in that, if having spent the penny, only foul wind is the result and it has been a penny wasted.
But on the lighter side a good fart can give relief beyond belief.
"Where ere ye let yer wind gang free"
To conclude if the words are spoken fom the heart via the anus is it any worse than not knowing one's erse from one's elbow in the first place.
