I've just ebought the above mandolin.

Google turns up very little about the maker. It seems he was a furniture maker and classical guitar maker so I was hoping for a rare and ringing beauty, but so far she seems like an entry level but usable instrument (fair for what I paid) although more playing after setup may result in sound opening up.

Instrument is signed, with no serial number, and says made in Madrid 1980. I think the shop is still there and I may write to them to see what they can tell me if anything, but does anyone here know more than I have found out so far?
