Yeah.....my previous post went by-by or some senile old idiot forgot to hit submit...........Let's say I agree with Jeri and as one who has spent waaaaay too much time on a vent, I can assure you what she says is true.   The nurses will give Tom the message if he wants to know and it may take several times before he understands......

I can't imagine negotiating a cell phone on a vent.
